Directions
- Driving Directions (GPS: 42:43:53.800N 73:41:3.919W)
- Amtrak Train Station Located in the city of Rensselaer, just a short cab ride to campus.
- Albany International Airport Located in Albany, just 20 minutes from campus.
- Leaving the airport, turn left onto Route 155, follow for 1/10 of a mile.
- At the traffic light, turn left onto Albany Shaker Road.
- Get on I-87 North via ramp on the left.
- Take exit 7 onto Route 7 toward Troy – stay on route 7 for 4.8 miles.
- Once you go over the bridge over the Hudson River, the highway becomes Hoosick Street.
- Stay straight on Hoosick Street for approximately ½ mile to intersection with 15th Street.
- Turn right onto 15th Street.
- Follow 15th Street for several blocks to the Rensselaer campus.
- Drive under the pedestrian foot bridge.
- The Visitor Information Center (VIC) Parking Lot located just past the pedestrian bridge, up a small incline, on your left.

Shipping
- If you plan to ship materials to the CDC for an upcoming presentation or the CDC Spring Career Fair, please send your materials to: Career Development Center, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, DCC 209, 110 8th Street, Troy, NY 12180-3590. Kindly mark your shipped materials clearly with your organization's name, and the contact information for whom it will be held.
Parking
- If you will be driving to campus, you may park in the Visitor Information Center (VIC) Parking Lot, located at 1624 15th Street, Troy, NY. The fee to park is $7.00 per day and there are metered slots available for short visits. There is no fee to park after 5pm. A large map of campus is located outside of the VIC.
- The Campus Parking Map may help if you will be visiting other offices on campus.
- CDC SPRING CAREER FAIR REPS: Please note that the parking fee is included with your career fair registration fee. You will receive more detailed information regarding your parking options prior to the event.
Office Location and CDC Interview Center
- The Career Development Center is located on the second floor of the Darrin Communications Center (DCC), Suites 207-214.
- The CDC Interview Center is located on the third floor of the DCC, in room 345. To get there from the VIC Parking Lot, walk across the footbridge toward the center of campus. Go through the lobby of the

(directly in front of you as you are walking across the footbridge). The CII is connected to the DCC building, so keep walking through the lobby area. Once you pass over to the DCC, follow the building as it curves around to the left, and it will lead you to the CDC
Interview
Center, located at the end of the hallway
. Our receptionist will be there to greet you and provide you with your booth assignment.
Information Session Locations
- You can find the location and time of your Information Session on JobLink under the "Events" and "Information Session" tab. You typically will have access to the room 30 minutes prior to your start time.
