			<description>April 30, 2007: More than 1,400 Rensselaer students, faculty, staff, their families, and members of the surrounding community — led by members of Greek Life and student athletes — joined forces to participate in Rensselaer's second Relay for Life event, raising more than $100,000 (and counting) for cancer research. The overnight event — held on the '86 Field — began at 6 p.m. on Friday, and ended Saturday at 8 a.m.
